Kashi Humus Chips

These chips in my opinion were not that great.I'm a buzzagent and was given these to me free for trying them. They had no flavor and tasted like cardboard I had other simular chips like these that were much better in quality. Try them yourself and let me know what you think

LIPOGEN PS PLUS™

This product was not for me. It says it will help with forgetfulness but it didn't work for me. I was still forgetting things and was hoping it would kick in. But maybe with a extremely busy year so far it hasn't really helped either. The Lipogen I'm sure works for some and not for others. I'm the other. I don't know what else to say since I don't have a high revue on this item. Thanks Buzz Agents for letting me try the product.

So I've been trying this new product out that is supposed to diminish or soften your wrinkles. I laughed thinking yea right. But being a buzz agent I was able to test this product and to see if it really works. What I came to find out was the more I used it the more I really liked it! At first I was skeptical but now I'm not sure. I have not noticed my wrinkles going away but I have found them more softened. Its not just that but the way it has made my skin more soft and moist. I will buy this product not just for my wrinkles but for the moisturizing of my skin. Thank you BUZZ AGENT for letting me test this product and buzzing about it!

Burts Bees

I had the chance to sample some Burt's Bee's moisturizer and cleanser for sensitive skin. I LOVE IT! Its so gentle on my skin and leaves it smoother then most moisturizer that I've tried. It's a great way to start my morning before putting on my makeup. I love Burt's Bee's but this made it easy for me to make sure I find it in the cleanser department. Before using Burt's Bee's my skin was dry and the mosturizer I was using make my face tingle just a bit. With this moisturizer my skin feels smooth and non tingling. It feels like I didn't put any moisturizer on at all. Light weight

Elder Neil L. Andersen

I'm a little behind on my blogging, but I wanted to share the events of today with you while they are fresh on my mind. We had Stake Conference today and while I find it very difficult to attend Stake Conference for 2 hours with my children...we knew today was a time we weren't going to miss. Hunter's Creek Stake had the opportunity to have Elder Neil L. Anderson attend and speak with us.

I was sitting there waiting for the meeting to begin when my friend, Mary, got my attention. She pointed forward in the middle of the isle and said for me to take my kids to meet him. When I looked in that direction I saw Elder Andersen walking around with President Pratt. Where I was sitting it was actually easier to send Spencer with the kids. He quickly took them toward them. They started walking to the pulpit when President Pratt noticed my kids and had Elder Andersen turn back to come towards them. I sat there with a huge smile on my face. Sitting about 30 yards away, you could still feel the spirit with his interaction with the children. The kids walked back with Spencer and were all smiling. Kaylie was so excited and said "we got to tell him our names". Spencer said he has never felt the spirit so strongly as he did shaking his hand. What an amazing experience for the kids to meet an Apostle, a General Authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I went into this meeting with a very open heart and mind and wanted to really get something out of today. It's not every day that you have an Apostle at church. There were many great speakers before Elder Andersen today and I did my best to write notes on the things that were most inspiring to me. 


President Pratt (Hunter's Creek Stake President) spoke of holding to the Iron Rod and quoted D&C 52:14
And again, I will give unto you a pattern in all things, that ye may not be deceived; for Satan is abroad in the land, and he goeth forth deceiving the nations—


Elder Burns (Area Seventy) spoke about the Savior knowing each and every one of us individually. He commented "The Savior knows his flock".


Sister Rachel Taylor (Stake Young Women's President) spoke of the temptations that we face and how we are fighting for eternal life. A comment she made that I really liked was that we need to "choose daily to combat Satan." She is such a great example to the young women.


Before Elder Andersen spoke we were able to hear from his wife, Sister Kathy Andersen. I loved listening to her speak. She is from Florida and it was fun to hear her talk about that. She told a story about when her 4 children were younger they would use the conference Ensign for their weekly Family Home Evening. She wanted each of her children to have a copy of all 15 talks so one day she went to the copy store and printed out 5 copies of each talk. When she got to the counter her total was around $50, she was in shock. She was embarrassed by the thought she had 'was it with it for each of them to have a copy'. Sister Andersen then asked "What is it worth for you to have the words of Prophets?" 


Now we still have about 40 minutes left in the meeting when Elder Neil L. Andersen gets to the pulpit. Is this going to be a long boring talk? Absolutely not. I honestly believe that he chuckled during much of his talk. He spoke of many different things. One of the things that really stood out was when he said "never delay a prompting by the holy ghost". How many times do we do this though? Have the thought to call a friend? Think to do or say something, but we don't? There is "no greater feeling to being the answer to a heartfelt prayer". Don't disregard your feelings because it just might be the answer to a prayer. I loved listening to him speak of his interactions with President Hinkley, President Monson and other Authorities of the church. 


One of the stories he told was from an address made by President Boyd K. Packer to a multi-stake conference. "There were two farmers once who had adjoining fields. The one never worked in his field on Sunday, and his neighbor used to chide him about it. He said, “Your crops aren’t doing as well as mine are. Why don’t you work on Sunday?” He said, “Well, I want to do what the Lord said. I want to gain the blessings of the Lord.” Then one October day, they stood at the fence line, and the one farmer said, “Well, just look at it. Look at my field. It’s beautiful, the grain is tall, the heads are full of wheat. And yours show a little sign of neglect. You haven’t tended yours as well as I have tended mine. Look at my harvest compared to yours. What do you say now about the blessings you thought you were earning?” This man thought for a few minutes and said, “Well, the Lord doesn't balance his books in October.”


After this meeting I know that I need to be more active in reading my scriptures and teaching my children who each one of the General Authorities are. Beginning tomorrow for Family Home Evening I want to start with President Monson and work our way down. I want them to know the faces of our Apostles and learn more about them. I am so grateful for the opportunity we had to attend Stake Conference today and listen to Elder Neil L. Andersen speak. I bare my testimony that I know that this is the true church and the words we heard today were from the Lord. I am so grateful for the examples that I have had in my life. Especially my Grandpa & Grandma Hicken....if it weren't for them I would not be sitting here today writing about church. My Grandma really never gives up on her kids or grand kids, and while I was in my own world at a time...I'm now back holding to the Iron Rod along with my little family. I love my husband, Spencer and our 4 wonderful children, Kendra, Kaylie, Lucas & Chaz!

I totally want this as a buzz agent. My friends faces would be greeeeeen, my husband would dance a happy jig and my kids would say I'm the BEST MOM in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! And for myself I would be saving some major coins and gas. This would be a great compaign for me to join and once everyone sees this in my house they will want to join too.

Star Wars Saga

I am so excited about this! The Star Wars saga on blue ray! What a fun adventure to bring into the home with this package on blue ray. I'm a buzz agent and this is one of the many experiences I have to be able to share with you about products. I hope you take advantage of going and buying this awesome blue ray set of Star Wars. My husband would love this in a trick or treat bag. I'm hoping to have the excitement come into my home.

My daughter and I would LOVE this game! We make up silly boring games sometimes and this could be one that we could really enjoy together for an afternoon of silliness. As a buzz agent I would love to test this out and not only would I spread the buzz but my daughter would too.

Thomas Bagel Thins

I just tried these Thomas Bagel Thins and they were really good. They're thin and a heck a lot less calories then other bagels. They were perfect for a bagel sandwich. I really liked the whole wheat soft and moist and very flavorful. If like bagels and are watching your calorie intake like my husband these are the perfect things to snatch up for a yummy sandwich.

Elmer's Crafts Packet

I was to test out the Elmer's CraftBond & X-ACTO kit on my daughters book that she tore. I used the double sided tape to fix it and it worked like a charm. I also used the corner puncher to make her school project a little eye pleasing and soft. This kit was amazing and to work with although there are many other things we want to do with it, its just finding the time to use them all, but I'm looking forward to some craft days with her. The scissors are fantastic and she loves cutting with them and creating crafty objects with them. My wish is to collect more things from Elmers and add them to my craft box. Thank you buzz for giving me the chance to test the Elmer's CraftBond & X -Acto kit, it was a lot of fun for a mother and a daughter to enjoy some craft time together.

Publix Kids Meal Pack

As a busy mom, sometimes I don't have time take Jordan home and fix her lunch, and I don't really want to take her to a fast food place so when Publix started making lunch for the kids I jumped on it really fast. These lunch packs come with a variety of different sandwiches they can pick from, it also comes with some kind of vegetable, fruit, dessert and a drink. This made us happy not only does she get something good to eat while running errands with me but also she gets a very healthy nutritional lunch. As a buzz agent I was able to get a free coupon and coupons that gave you a $1.00 off of these meals. What a great way to spread the news. Not only are they great for on the go but you can pick one up for picnics, school lunches and dinner. Its about the same price as a kids meal at mcdonalds, wendy's, and other fast food but much healthier for them. Why pay for a greasy non healthy meal when you can get a kids meal at publix that is much healthier!?

L'Oreal Paris Collagen Micro-Pulse

I have always had such a rough time with the dark circles under my eyes. I thought maybe it was due to the lack of sleep but when I would go to bed early and eat more healthier it didn't seem to work. So I kinda gave up. But thanks to BZZAGENT who sent me a free product called L'Oreal Paris Collagen Micro-Pulse serum and vibrator has really made a difference in my eyes. Just after a few days I started the product I noticed my dark circles were disappearing from the the serum of the product and the puffiness I get from waking up too early the vibrator really reduced the puffiness and the fine lines in my face. When it came to make-up the problem I would have was with my mascara. When I would put on my mascara I would put on as little as possible because it would constantly flake and make dark smudges under my eyes, it would would never stay on and would always smudge under my eyes there were other things that I would have problems with leading brands of mascara and it would always frustrate me. When I wear make up one of the most important items for me is mascara. I can be without eye shadow or lip stick, but I must have mascara. I was so excited when BzzAgent presented me with a campaign to try out the new CoverGirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara! The first time I tried it I actually decided not to use my normal mascara and open up my Cover Girl the day I received it. I was going out and wanted to look especially nice. Wow, I LOVE this mascara. I love how it curls my lashes just a touch more than my eye lash curler and it makes my eyes pop a little more. Trust me you will love this mascara.

Cover Girl Blast!

Have you tried Cover Girl's new Smoky ShadowBlast or ShineBlast Lip Gloss? Well as a bzzagent I was able to try this product out for free! (Thanks Bzz!) I loved the colors that I received in the mail. I have now tried it out a few times and what I like about it was the ease of putting on my eye shadow without a brush. The colors went perfectly together. However, I seem to have a hard time keeping make up to stay on my face so it came off not too long into my day because it isn't a powder it's a cream. Let's start with some great deals at Publix lately thanks to an amazing website, www.iheartpublix.com, they are awesome when it comes to putting deals together. I'm going to try to have some fun and take pics of my deals, just to make it a little more fun to see what the deals look like!

I recently did a deal a couple weeks ago where I spent around $18 and saved about $200, I lost my receipt so I don't have the exact amounts, but it was around that. I ended up with 12 bottles of A-1 Steak Sauce, 16 bottles of Kraft dressing and 8 bottles of Kraft BBQ sauce. I gave away a few A-1 sauces and some Kraft dressings, but for the most part I think we will go through these things before they expire :) These deals were money makers so it really helped towards my other purchases.

This current sales week I have been loving the hot dog deal. Our Publix takes Albertson's coupons and with Albertson's doing Buy 1 get TWO free on Ball Park franks this week...I've been going a little crazy. So here is the deal I've been doing.

This trip my receipt said I had a total savings of $112.93, so that is pretty exciting to me! I think this was a favorite shopping trip for me. The total regular retail price on these items is $218.79.

If you are at all confused by this....well I was also confused typing it!

By the way, all of those Walgreens diapers....so far they suck! I hated the newborn size, they reminded me of the commerical where they compare the baby to a brick and that the "other" diaper fits bricks not babies. Anyway, size 1 just doesn't seem to fit him right. Luckily I have a pack of Huggies size 1 from my friend that I am using....they are a little big, but working great for me!

Guess what I paid???

Ok so I made yet another trip to CVS today, but this time I hit the clearance section in Haines City, FL. The total value of everything in this picture is $317.03, so sent me a guess on what you think I paid for all of this. I had to take a picture of everything as I unloaded it into my box.... I don't think a small box will work for me. I am currently putting all of these things into my double stroller box. :)
