Want Lists

There are a few new posts so keep going after you read this one...

Ok so I have posted my want list. Notice there aren't things like cereal or things that everyone needs. We are all going to want to save if those type of items are a great sale. I just put down things that I must buy all the time for our family.

I suggest putting specific brands of something you won't buy of any other brand or would really prefer to buy....like the diapers I listed. I would prefer Huggies or Pampers, but obviously have so many Walgreens and Target ones that I should be good for a while, but if a great deal comes up then I won't pass it up. Especially because the baby will probably do better wearing a better brand for night time.

Email me your lists before Sunday if you can so I can add them to the blog. That way everyone will have those things in mind when they are clipping coupons. Can't wait to see your lists!

Wags Sneak Peek!

http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dccpgn8g_54mg38nbcv

Honestly nothing totally caught my eye for this next week that was super great. Except maybe the Bic Soleil razors...see very bottom for that one.

They do have the Cover Girl here BOGO if you can't do it at CVS this week...same deal. Both free if you use the BOGO coupon in P&G ad from Sunday.

White Rain Shampoo/Conditioner is $1...don't know how great it is, probably good enough for kids to use.

Bic Soleil Razor or Cartidges $5.99-$2 coupon (easy saver)= $3.99. There is also a $2 printable coupon for this making it only $1.99 out of pocket, great deal!!! Doesn't have a limit online, may have to grab a coupel razors and a few cartridges here. This is for sure a stockpile price for me.

All detergent 2/$8 get $2 RR...not too bad. I want to look for a coupon for this one. We use this cause they sell it in Free & Clear which we have to use in our house!

Good luck next week! Make sure you email us your great deals or if you found something better let us know!

CVS Sneak Peek!

http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/view.php?pg=cvs_ecb_deals

To me it didn't look too impressive, but we'll have to see after Sunday's paper!
Cheerios looks good (apparently it's never a bad time to buy cereal)
Alavert---money maker if you have $4 coupon...on sale for $5.99+$3 EB

I have a couple other things down, but nothing huge. Just a few things we need that are on sale.

Anyway, have a look!

Finishing it off!

Ok so I finished off most of my shopping for the week at Walgreens and CVS. I did get the cereal at Wags, but decided that I really didn't have room to purchase 10 or 12 more boxes so I only bought 4, but I still got 1-$5 RR. I know the deal is good, but buying things you really don't need is not saving money....we have 12 boxes in our closet, 3 which are open...but I think we are good until the next deal.

Wags:

Trans1:
4 boxes of cereal= $10.00-less $2 coupons= 8.00, total saved was $8.00...not too bad, OOP $8

Trans2: (prices listed are sales prices)
Angel Soft TP (2 packs) $0.99=$1.98
Poster board (4) $0.09=$0.32
Carefree Pantyliners (2 packs) $0.99=$1.98
Expo Markers (2 packs) $1.99=$3.98

Less MFG. coupons= $1.00
Less RR from previous trans.= $7.00

Subtotal $0.30
Tax $0.67
Total Out of Pocket= $.97
So my total Wags trip was $8.97, not too bad for everything I got with a total savings in coupons, advertised sales and RR of $26.00.

CVS:

Pampers $8.88
Dawn dishliquid (2) $.088=$1.76
Whole Milk $3.99
Oral B toothbrush $2.49
Cover girl make up BOGO $8.99 & $7.99 (also had a BOGO coupon for this one...so FREE)

Less MFG. coupons= $11.99
Less CVS EB= $14.50

Subtotal= $-0.38
Tax= $.58
Total out of pocket= $0.20

In this trip to CVS my total savings was $40.51, not too bad at all! I am trying my best to rollover my EB's, but I can't always do that. This week I was able to purchase milk with our EB's and not have to take it out of pocket...I like that. My last trip for the week will be to Publix for some meat and that is all. My total oop for the week will be less than $50 for food and HBA products!

Katie's CVS Trip

Ok so I hit up a CVS on the way home from Kaylie's doctors appointment today. I am glad I stopped at this one because it isn't nearly as busy as the one near our house...they had most everything in stock. I actually took 2 of the last Sure deodorants.

Here is what I got......

Crest Pro Health $2.49 x 3= $7.47
Less coupons -1.75= $5.72
ECB= $4.50 (total cost = $0.61 each)

Colgate $2.99 x 2= $5.98
Less coupons -$1.50= $4.48
ECB= $4.00 (total cost = $0.24 each)

Dawn Dishsoap sale $0.88-0.50coupon= $0.38
(one of my papers was missing the P & G ad so I missed out on getting another one of these)

Pert Plus BOGO $3.99-4.00 coupons= -$0.01

Sure Deodorant BOGO $2.89-2.00 coupons= ($0.45 each)

Tide detergent $4.97-1.00 coupon= $3.97

Gillette Fusion Razor $9.99-4.00 coupon= $5.99
ECB= $3.00

Advil $5.79-1.00 coupon= $4.79
ECB= $5.79 (money maker!!)

Now I did buy a few other things on clearance so I had more OOP, but I planned on all of this and needed it. As for the toothpaste, well I can say with 100% assurance I will not be purchasing toothpaste for at least a few months now...we are well stocked up on this. Today my total out of pocket was $35.35 (should have been $10 less...see below) and my total savings was $67.76, all on items that I do actually need now or in the next couple months. (ie...shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant). And in this purcahse I earned a total of $17.29 EB. By the way, my coupon total was $15.75, something that I would have normally never had!

I forgot to use the $10 EB I had in my purse, but I had 3 kids with me and just spaced out. I now have over $27 in EB for my next trip. I plan on using that to purchase some pull ups which are on sale for $8.88 and I have a $3 coupon. I am getting another Oral-B toothbrush because I have a coupon and I only need 1 more item to get another $1.50EB on that deal. Then I am going to purchase milk there because it is on sale this week for $3.99 and I have all of those EB I need to use.

I just saw the preview to next weeks Walgreens & CVS ads so I'll post those soon. Now I know for sure I don't want to use all of my EB's this week.

Please email me your deals for both Wags & CVS this week so everyone can see what you have done.
